Public Page (the share link) is the landing page with your description, dates, and a Start button when the form is open. When someone clicks Start, they’re taken to the actual form experience to fill out and submit responses.
If a question allows file uploads, you can attach files during the form. The upload happens automatically and the file is stored as a link in your response.
Usually no. While you fill out a form, progress is saved in your browser’s local storage. If you come back on the same device/browser, your in-progress answers may be restored automatically.
Before submitting, you must complete the Turnstile (anti-bot) challenge. If verification fails, try again or contact support if you believe it’s an error.

Go to My Forms and click + Create a New Form. You’ll land on the editor where you can work through A. Settings → B. Form Builder → C. Landing Page → D. Sharing. Use the Publish switch at the bottom when you’re ready to go live.
Open the AI chat (bottom corner) and click Create a New Form (or + Create Form with AI on My Forms). Describe what you want (goal, audience, question count, and question types). The agent will build the form and you’ll be redirected to the editor to review and publish.
The editor is organized into tabs:
- A. Settings: title, type, dates, timezone, login requirement
- B. Form Builder: add/edit questions visually
- C. Landing Page: customize the public intro content
- D. Sharing: copy the public link + QR code
- Dashboard: response analytics (only appears after publishing)
Open the form editor and use the Publish switch fixed at the bottom of the page.
- On = published (public page becomes available)
- Off = unpublished (public page will show as not available)
The public link is only intended to be used after publishing. Turn on the Publish switch at the bottom of the editor, then return to D. Sharing to copy the link and QR code.
In A. Settings, set an Open Date (required) and an optional Close Date. The Public Page will:
- show a countdown before the open date
- show Start while open
- show Closed after the close date (if set)
Timezone controls how your open/close dates are interpreted and displayed. If you’re sharing the form with people in one main region, set the timezone to match that audience.
If enabled, respondents must be signed in to access and submit the form. If someone opens the public link while signed out, they’ll be prompted to log in before continuing.
Yes. The Form Builder runs with auto-save enabled. When you edit questions, Formii saves changes in the background and shows a confirmation notification.
In B. Form Builder, use the Refine Form AI button in the builder toolbar. This opens chat and starts an AI session focused on improving the current form’s SurveyJS definition.
Yes. In C. Landing Page, click Refine Content. AI will propose improved HTML content for your public landing page (you can review before saving).
Use the Landing Page editor to insert an image and upload it when prompted. Uploaded files are stored and referenced by URL in your landing page HTML.
The Dashboard only appears after the form is published. Publish the form, refresh the editor, then open the Dashboard tab to view response analytics.
After publishing, the form editor shows a Download menu near the top. Choose a format (Excel, CSV, or JSON) to export collected responses.
Open Form Library, search for a form, and click Use Template. Formii will create a copy in your account that you can edit and publish.
In Form Library, click Preview to open a read-only preview in a modal window. Use this to check the structure before duplicating it into your own forms.
Open the form editor and click Delete in the fixed bottom bar. Confirm the prompt to permanently delete the form and its stored responses.
